The MVIO EMB-4AUD-FS SD-SDI 4-Channel Analog Audio Embedder with Frame Sync from Gra-Vue is a half-rack 1RU standalone embedder which embeds two stereo analog audio source signals into a single SDI stream, and applies frame sync processing to the output signal. It features two identical SDI outputs so that the video with the newly embedded audio may be delivered to two destinations without requiring a separate distribution amplifier. The unit also outputs one analog composite video signal for monitoring, or other applications. The embedding mode and channels to which the audio is embedded is user-defined, and may be set using DIP switches on the unit. The embedder supports 625i50 and 525i60 formats. The reference input supports INT, single EXT, and Global EXT sync modes.
The MVIO EMB-4AUD-FS provides automatic signal equalization for cable runs up to 656' (Belden 1694A), which can improve the signal quality and reduce the signal loss caused by long distance transmission of the input source. The LED lights on the module indicate the status of input signal and power supply. The unit supports SNMP and can be real-time managed and monitored by XIO NET, an optional network management module, via Ethernet.
