History
Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor of the Duke of Burgundy Philippe le Bon, founded the Hôtel-Dieu in Beaune in 1443. From 1452, nursing sisters, who had been brought from Flanders, welcomed and cared for the first patients in the great Paupers’ Ward. The Cuvée was enlarged in 1963 thanks to a legacy made by Madame Maurice Pallegoix in memory of her husband, who was mayor of Demigny. The oldest vines in the Cuvée are Les Cent Vignes, representing 54% of the surface, and Les Teurons (19%), which were respectively planted between 1953 and 1975, and 1950 and 1955.

Hospices de Beaune history
Founded in 1443, the Hospices de Beaune was originally for a home and sanctuary for the poor. Throughout the centuries, its vocation remains the same: the quality of care is still as high, in numerous satellite establishments, and the famous auction that is held once a year takes place above all for charity purposes.Today, numerous donated parcels of vines make up a superb domain which includes 60 hectares of vines situated mostly in Grand Crus and Premiers Crus. The annual Hospices de Beaune auction, created in 1859, has always been held on the third Sunday in November. This charitable event, that is amongst the most broadcast in the world, is an important trend indicator for the Burgundy wine market. The catalogue lots at the auction are named 'cuvée' and are indicated with the name of the wine or village and one of the names of the institution's benefactors. Apart from the two charity barrels, all the profits from the auction are used to finance projects carried out by the institution. The wine commercialised during the sale is wine produced in the year. The wine is sold in barrels called 'pièces', (containing 228 litres).

My Teenage Daughter Called Me Trendy!
Size: Medium, Color: Blue, Size: Medium, Color: Blue
My teenage daughter called me trendy! I’ll go with it!!! I feel confident and trendy wearing this pair of jeans. How could I not?!!! A cute drawstring weaved through the gourmet waist adds to the comfy causal style. The barrel legs have a small distressing on the legs. Darker faux patches added to the lighter wash jeans give a Friday vibe any day of the week. I love the functional large front and back pockets my phone and keys fit comfortably in my front pockets. I so happy with the quality and price of this pair of jeans! I highly recommend them!! I have worn the jeans to a few different events and always get asked where I got my jeans! Love them and you will too!

super cute
very adorable. I ordered a medium, at 160 who carries their weight in their butt and thighs they fit but are a little small waisted but can still button. Id still wear a bit to stretch them to my shape as a good day old pair of jeans fits. they're very cute and i love them. im not willing to go up a size lol cuz the tightness is all on me:)
