Description

Nautilus Estate Méthode Traditionnelle Marlborough Vintage Rosé 2020"Made entirely from pinot noir, this bottle fermented bubbly was disgorged after two and a half years ageing on its yeast lees. Light pink, it is finely balanced, crisp and lively. It has very vigorous strawberry, watermelon and spice flavours, is showing excellent complexity and harmony and has a dry persistent finish" Michael Cooper, Dec 2024 "Made in the traditional method; two years on lees. Rose gold glimmers in the glass. Pinot noir bedazzles

"Made entirely from pinot noir, this bottle-fermented bubbly was disgorged after two and a half years ageing on its yeast lees. Light pink, it is finely balanced, crisp and lively. It has very vigorous strawberry, watermelon and spice flavours, is showing excellent complexity and harmony and has a dry persistent finish" Michael Cooper, Dec 2024

"Made in the traditional method; two years on lees. Rose gold glimmers in the glass. Pinot noir bedazzles the aromas – strawberries, wild rose and white raspberries. Glacé oranges, dried autumn leaves and goji berry. There is no lack of savoury elements, a touch of cumin, cured meats and togarashi flakes. Hazelnut cream and gingerbread. Acidity carries the vast weight of flavours down the line and the wine finishes with a maraschino cherry atop. This is a graceful style that would suit seasonal frivolity or, equally, a five course degustation meal. The true standout is the precision of pinot noir that sits as the undercurrent throughout the wine and the freshness of vintage" Shanteh Wale, Halliday Wine Companion, Dec 2024

"Fine mouse. Savoury pastry nose with hints of red berry conserve. A pillowy, layered but light palate with small-scaled but pretty fruit and florals within a lithe, elegant frame. Detailed and sustained on the finish suggesting significant upside potential for a lighter wine" Stephen Wong, Real Review, Sep 2024

"Very bright with pale salmon hues and a touch of gold lead to a bouquet of peach and strawberry then a fine autolysis. Youthful and vibrant on the palate with flavours that reflect the bouquet, plots of rose and red apple skin, a fine lees autolysis carves a pathway through core fruit flavours adding depth and breadth. Acidity salivates the palate as well as coating with echoes of autolysis and red berry fruit flavours. Dry, crisp, still ageing and developing, a wine to offer as an aperitif before a meal of with cheeses after dinner. Best drinking from 2026 through 2036" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Apr 2024

Nautilus Vintage Rosé 2020 is pale salmon in colour with a fine creamy mousse. The nose shows red berry fruit notes, with fragrances of peach and rose petals and a hint of spice. 100% Pinot Noir gives this wine depth and weight balanced by a touch of brioche and a satin texture from extended lees maturation. This sparkling wine is finely balanced on the palate with an elegant and harmonious finish.

Rains in November & December kept the soil moisture levels up and while January and February were warm and dry, we had sufficient water to get through the season. The 2020 harvest will be remembered as ‘unusual’ given the measures and practices which had to instigate to ensure we all remained safe from the virus. Throughout the harvest, the one thing that always remained on our side was the weather. Perfect ripening conditions with an early arrival of the autumn weather pattern of cool nights and warm, but not hot, days meant for nice slow flavour development. The fruit condition was pristine and some of the best we have seen. Clone 115 Pinot Noir Grapes were hand-picked & chilled overnight. The next morning the grapes were de-stemmed prior to pressing to allow the release of a small amount of colour from the skins. The lightly pink coloured juice was fermented to dryness & left on yeast lees until undergoing a full malolactic fermentation. After bottling in October for secondary fermentation, this single vineyard vintage wine was aged for a further two and a half years on tirage before disgorging in May 2023.

Food Pairing: Try with Tuna nigiri or lightly poached salmon.

Great no-frills Bluetooth wireless headphones
Color: Blue
I did not read the description carefully. It states what devices these headphones are compatible with and "desktop computer" is not one of them. I called Sony and they told me they will work with almost any modern device that has Bluetooth connectivity. I easily wirelessly connected them to my desktop computer and they work great. Strangely the user guide gives instructions on how to use them with Mac and Windows computers, so read the user guide/manual that is linked in the description. If you want to use any of the functions of the Sony Headphones Connect app you will need a compatible phone. If you do not use the app (not compatible with computers) they function as a basic pair of wireless headphones. All rather confusing and the Amazon description does nothing to clear it up. With that being said I connected it easily to my desktop computer. I am no audiophile and do not need a $400 pair of headphones. To me they sound great especially for the inexpensive price. They are NOT noise cancelling headphones and I did not want noise cancelling. They are "on the ear" headphones meaning they are about the size of your ear and press your ears against your head creating a bit of a seal keeping some exterior noise out. Works fine, but if you wear eyeglasses and wear the glasses and the headphones at the same time after a few hours it can become uncomfortable as the headphones press your ear against the arm of the glasses and the arm of the glasses into the side of your head. The charging port on the headphones is USB C and they come with a USB A to USB C cable but no charging brick. I connected mine to my computer with a USB C to USB C cable and it charged fine. 50 hours of playtime on one charge is great. One star for a confusing and unclear Amazon description. 4 stars for a good basic pair of headphones that works with almost any modern Bluetooth device, albeit without the functions of the Sony app (unless you are using it with a compatible phone).

Lightweight, great sound and beautiful color.
Color: Cappuccino
I absolutely love these headphones. The color is great, they're lightweight, feel great on my ears and head. They're great quality and love that they twist down when testing then on my neck so they're not hitting my face. I would recommend this product!

Good sound
Color: Cappuccino
Not super noise canceling but good quality charge last a very long time. Controls on the ear piece are a bit awkward to use.

Perfect for me!
Color: Black
Slim/lightweight. Comfortable fit. Good charge. Though my volume was on a 4 or 5 and when I took the headphones off I could hear my music a little. You can’t fold to close them like other styles but I can rotate the earmuffs to make them fit in my bag. Definitely a solid pair of wireless headphones for a good price!

Good for quick music sessions, but disappointing for calls and comfort
Color: Black
Here are two updated versions of your review that incorporate the new details about quality, value, controls, and noise cancellation. Option 1: The "Pros & Cons" Breakdown (Highly Scannable) Headline: Great Battery and Sound, but Lacks Comfort and Effective Noise Isolation I’ve had a chance to test these thoroughly, and here is how they break down based on the key features: Quality & Controls: The build quality is good, and the controls are intuitive and easy to use. Battery: Excellent. It lasts a very long time on a single charge. Sound & Music: Very good for music listening, though the noise canceling is very bad. You will hear most of what is going on around you. Comfort: Not for long-term use. After a while, they cause noticeable pain on the ears. Call Quality: Quite bad. If you are doing any work or moving around, the person on the other end will be bothered by the background noise. Value for Money: Average. While the battery and music are highlights, the lack of comfort and poor mic quality make the price feel only "okay." Option 2: The Narrative Review (Best for Amazon's Algorithm) Headline: Good for quick music sessions, but disappointing for calls and comfort The Sony WH-CH520 is a solid device in terms of build quality and controls, and the battery life is truly impressive. If you just need a pair of headphones for short music sessions, these sound great. However, I found the value for money to be average due to a few major flaws. First, the comfort is lacking; they start to hurt my ears after wearing them for a short while. Second, the noise canceling is very poor—don't expect these to block out your environment. Finally, I do not recommend these for phone calls. The mic picks up way too much ambient noise, which makes it frustrating for the person you are talking to. Great for the battery and buttons, but not ideal for an all-day office or travel headset
