Showing pure and precise aromas of cherries, red berries and thyme. Medium bodied, with good length and weight on the palate, showing beautiful balance between the fresh acidity, fruit concentration and firm but fine-grained tannins. A versatile, very satisfying drinking wine and a great example of cooler climate Tempranillo from Rioja Alvesa. Ready to drink, will benefit from six to 12 months celaring upon release and keep for a further three years.

Badiola is the winemakers winery in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Founded in 2018 by acquiring an existing winery, Badiola offers village and single vineyard wines that display the freshness, elegance and depth of flavours which they believe distinguish the great wines from Rioja Alavesa. Winemakers cultivate over 300 parces of extraordinary vineyards on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, mainly in the villages of Villabuena de Alava, Leza, Samaniego, Laguardia, Navaridas and Baños del Ebro. The average age of the vineyards is around 50 years and many were planted in the 1920s, 30s and 40s.

Made from high quality, low-yielding grapes from hillside ("laderas") vines on limestone soilds, without need for carbonic maceration to mask any unripe or unhealthy fruit. About a quarter of the wine is aged for 4-6 months in new barriques of top quality French and American oak, for added complexity ad texture, but no overt oak character.

Food Pairing: A good match with both meat and fish-based tapas, mezze, rice dishes and pasta.

Not for super chewers
Color: Blue
This ball seems to be of good quality; has held a charge well and is easy to use. Sadly, the cover lasted less than 15 minutes with our dog.... not for aggressive chewers for sure. Pretty funny to watch the hound dog jowls shake though.

Great fun for dogs!
Color: Orange
Two of our dogs really love this! It caused a lot of barking and chasing and running around trying to grab it. It's really funny to use the remote to control it (and especially make it stop when things get a little too chaotic!) It feels durable even when pawed and bumped into and stepped on. The battery life seems good. I plugged it in overnight to charge so not sure how long it took to charge, but it has lasted quite a while with the dogs playing with it and still doesn't need a charge. It's easy to screw off one side of the ball to plug it in to charge. The size is a little bigger than a tennis ball I would say and has a soft texture.

It doesn't work.
Color: Blue
The two halves of the ball shell come apart again and again when the dog plays with them. When it is time to recharge the core, it will not take a charge. The dog loves it, but it's unsafe to play with.

My dogs fight over it
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
Easy to use, durable, and has a great battery love. At first my dogs were curious and unsure about it, now its become one of their favorite toys. They'll stare at it while its being charged and impatiently wait for it so they can have fun again. Perfect size for most breeds.
