On this sidepull bridle the reins act directly: when one rein is applied, pressure is created on the opposite side of the nose, encouraging the horse to turn. When both reins are taken evenly, pressure on the nose helps the horse to slow down or halt.
The leather noseband runs to sturdy side rings where both cheekpieces and reins are attached. A diagonal leather strap adds stability, prevents slipping, and allows additional influence on the cheeks. This design ensures a direct and precise rein aid.
