Our Kolinsky Sable nail brushes are 100% pure Kolinsky Sable hair brushes. 60% male Kolinsky Sable tail hair is blended with 40% of the female Kolinsky Sable tail hair. All brushes are dome shape in design when dry and fine pointed when wet. The belly of the brush is 1/3 of the way up from the top of the ferrule. The ferrule is a seamless nickel plated brass ferrule with deep crimping. There are four coats of lacquer with two coats of gloss varnish on the handle with two hours of drying time between each coat. Short graduated length handles as per size of the ferrule. All Kolinsky brushes have tied bundles since these brushes are mainly for nail artist. The epoxy used is the strongest available. It withstands any soaking of the brush. Aluminium Ferrule, Short Wood Handle. Keeping The Hair Shape Don't leave brush's hair in the contact with a bottom of the glass with a solvent even for a short time. Hair might lose its shape forever. Use a glass with a special brush's holder to prevent the hair from contact with the walls and the bottom of the glass. Hair of a dry brush could also lose its shape. Keep a brush horizontally or on the handle (hair up). If you use acrylic solvent, rinse a brush in the brush cleaner immediately after using it. Acrylic solvent dry out fast especially near a ferrule and they are difficult to remove afterwards.
