The 250 GT with serial number S/N 3589GT has an extraordinary history.
Delivered in April 1962 in dark blue to the Endeavour team in the UK, this GTO competed in several races in England until September 1962, which were won with the well-known racing driver Michael "Mike" Parkes.
In November 1962, the GTO was sold to Tom O'Connor's Rosebud Racing Team in Victoria, Texas and subsequently repainted in light blue metallic. With the drivers Innes Ireland and Richie Ginther, several races in the USA – including the Tourist Trophy and Sebring – were contested until mid-1963.
In 1964, Mr. O'Connor decided to give his GTO to his daughter's school – Victoria High School – for teaching purposes. High school students repainted the GTO in red in 1965.
In 1970, Victoria High School sold the vehicle to Ohio, where its owner, Mr. Kortan, rented the 250 GTO for $34 a day.
Between 1972 and 1986, the vehicle was parked on a trailer in a field, and its condition deteriorated rapidly.
In 1986, the GTO, now matt red, was discovered and bought by an American collector. He sold the vehicle to the well-known Stieger family in Switzerland.
In the summer of 1988, the GTO was completely restored by Sportgarage Leirer in Switzerland.

Would happily purchase again.
Color: Hedgehog
My powerchewer of a dog destroys plushies in 10 minutes and most other 'tough chew' toys don't last more than a day or two - at most. But he loves his hedgehog and hasn't managed to destroy it! Sure, it has a plethora of teeth marks, but it's in one piece and he hasn't managed to bite off any chunks (I was worried about the hedgies nose 😂). It stands up to his teeth and allows him to satisfy his need to gnaw & chew, safely.

Excellent, But Not Strong Enough
Color: Monsieur Acorn - Large
This has become the most engaged my dog has ever been with a toy. He chewed these acorns for an hour and a half STRAIGHT. Sadly, he was able to shred both acorns by this time. For dogs with a normal chewing and shredding amount, this toy would be perfect. However, for a super chewer like our dog (Lab/Malamute), it seems like we're going to need something stronger...

A favorite for my small destroyers
Color: Monsieur Acorn - Large, Color: Monsieur Acorn - Large
My small destroyer dogs LOVE these toys and are always surprised to find another toy after the first and second violent de-stuffing. Definitely a supervision toy for safety, but my terriers love doing their thing when these come out and they last much longer than I had anticipated. Color, design and value all as described, however I literally do not remember if it did squeak because the squeaker would be the first thing gone
