About the Workshop:
While the art of bookbinding may seem daunting at first, there are some basic book structures that make entering the world of book arts fun and accessible. In this introductory class you will learn the basic use of bookbinding tools and materials, along with simple bookbinding structures that utilize softcovers. Students will learn about non-adhesive structures, bindings for single sheets, and other bindings that can be made with little specialized equipment. Accordions, pamphlets, drum leaf books, and a variety of softcover bindings will be taught during the course. This class is ideal for those who wish to learn simple forms for presenting work, or for building fundamental knowledge on bookbinding.Required Materials:
- Pencil and paper for taking notes
- Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get stained or dirty (CBA will provide aprons, but the ink used on press can stain)

About the Instructor
Elizabeth Castaldo is a New York based artist, printmaker, and bookbinder. Working with collage, drawing, and printmaking she creates multi-layered and visually abundant works on paper and artist’s books that explore nature, the divine feminine and interconnectivity. She was a 2024 art-in-ed workspace resident at Women’s Studio Workshop and has completed residencies at Proyecto ‘Ace in Buenos Aires Argentina, Arquetopia in Oaxaca Mexico, the Center for Book Arts, NYC and Printmaker’s Open Forum, Oxford PA. In 2023, her work was included in an illustrated edition of The Awakening by Kate Chopin published by Kasini House and Kolaj. Her work has been exhibited internationally including with Proyecto ‘Ace, Saint-Paul de Mausole at Saint-Rémy, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Empty Set Gallery, Zuckerman Museum of Art, Center for Book Arts, Saint Joseph’s College, and Landing Contemporary. She teaches printmaking and book arts at Parsons School of Design and the Center for Book Arts. Castaldo received her MFA from SCAD Atlanta where she was a Dean’s Fellow in Printmaking and her BFA from the School of Visual Arts. Her work is held in many private and institutional collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Public Library, SCAD, The University of Alberta, Carnegie Mellon University, Yale University and others. Excellent results
I have an older truck with badly oxidized headlights. I saw this product advertised and decided to give it a try. It was amazing how easy it was to do. 3 step process and the most remarkable results! Not quite what I expected
Great price but the results, though they did improve the clarity, it was not the full results I HAD EXPECTED..
The foiled packages that had the oxidizer removal and ceramic clear coat were nearly dry when I opened them.
They should be made more wet when sealed and possibly better foil paqckaging.

Ruined my headlights! Big waste of money!
I decided to try this instead of soda bicarbonate and toothpaste to see if if would be oxidation cleared for longer. Big mistake, it made my headlights completely hazed making it even worst. Don’t waste your money on this or anything else. Soda bicarbonate and toothpaste is better and you can seal it with a lacquer or sealer. Big waste of money. Hopeflly I can fix them…😡

Best product for headlight restoration.
This kit comes with everything that you need to restore dull and yellowed headlights to original shine. I have used other products in the past that were not as easy or effective. Customer service was wonderful. Highly recommend.
