It is constructed from aluminum and ABS material and is designed to work with all DSLR cameras and prosumer camcorders. The bundled follow focus is adjustable for virtually any lens and has a gearless feature to minimize bulk and add a sleek look. A quick-release plate lets you easily switch the camera between tripod and handheld use.
The gearless design utilizes a special rubber ring to securely grasp the focus rings on a lens. This facilitates fast lens changes, eases operation, and allows for a more affordable follow focus. The focus knob is tilted towards the user allowing for single user operation. Designed to have only a single, direct point of contact, this eliminates play (deflection) found in geared systems. The focus knob can be adjusted horizontally to accept a wide range of lens sizes.
