Switching between scanning at low magnification and confirming detail at 60x with a single focus knob means constant back-and-forth. The Athlon Cronus G2 UHD Dual Focus 20-60x86 pairs the flagship Cronus optics with a dual-speed focus system — coarse for fast target acquisition, fine for critical focus at high magnification — the same kind of precision focusing found on premium telescopes, applied to a field spotting scope.

At 20x the field of view spans 117 feet at 1,000 yards — wider than the standard model's 111 feet — making it efficient for scanning open country. The apochromatic lens system controls chromatic aberration better than standard ED designs, and the ESP dielectric coating reflects over 99% of light through the BAK-4 prism assembly, delivering the brightness and color fidelity that separate the Cronus G2 from everything else in its price class.

Key Features
  • Dual focus system (coarse + fine) — the coarse knob covers the full focus range quickly; the fine knob provides precise, vibration-free adjustment at high magnification. This eliminates the image shake that barrel-focus spotters can produce when you touch the focus ring on a tripod-mounted scope
  • Apochromatic UHD glass with advanced fully multi-coated lenses — triple-element apochromatic correction brings all three wavelengths into focus simultaneously, virtually eliminating the purple fringing that plagues standard ED spotting scopes. XPL protective coating sheds water, oil, and dirt
  • ESP dielectric coating on BAK-4 glass prisms reflects over 99% of light through the prism assembly, delivering the brightness and contrast needed to resolve fine detail — antler tines at 800 yards, plumage detail on distant shorebirds, or bullet trace across a valley
  • 86mm objective lens — the largest in Athlon's spotting scope lineup, gathering more light than 80mm and 85mm designs for brighter images and more usable time at dawn and dusk
  • Magnesium alloy chassis at 73.5 ounces with rotating tripod collar and 45° angled eyepiece. Argon purged and fully waterproof for year-round field use
  • 15.2-inch body length — an inch shorter than the standard barrel-focus model, with the same weight and optical performance

Ideal For

Hunters who glass at high magnification and want precise focus control without fighting barrel vibration. When you're trying to confirm antler points at 60x across a canyon at first light, the fine focus knob lets you hit peak sharpness without shaking the image off target.

Target shooters and PRS spotters who need to read mirage, spot trace, and call impacts at 40x or higher. The dual focus keeps the image stable while you fine-tune, and the 117-foot field of view at 20x makes finding targets between stages fast.

Birders and wildlife observers committed to high-magnification work — digiscoping, shorebird identification at distance, or hawk migration monitoring. The fine focus is especially valuable when digiscoping, where even small focus adjustments at high power dramatically affect image quality.

Prefer simpler mechanics? The standard Cronus G2 UHD 20-60x86 delivers the same optical platform with a single barrel-focus ring — lighter on controls, identical glass. For a compact tactical option with an FFP mil reticle, the Cronus G2 UHD 7-42x60 packs Cronus-grade optics into a 46.6-ounce straight body.

This book has changed the direction of my life
Format: Paperback
If you are struggling with relationships in the work place this is the book for you. Whether your Christian or not the book will change your life. Danny’s influence or teaching clearly stream through the book. Carla re-explains, gives her insights, and in a beautiful creative way gives vulnerable examples of navigating conflict. Not only guidance on how to fiercely protect a healthy culture but an honest, relatable look into her own journey. What a pearl. This helped me to sit in a “team meeting” and speak out on issues despite the discomfort I feel. I have a vision and use the truths and tools learned in the book to keep me on the path to the vision. I understand it’s a daily walk with Love and connection being the primary goal.

A wonderful call to leading with power and integrity
I have been a big fan of Danny Silk’s “Keep Your Love On” and ”Culture of Honor”, but there have been times where I have hoped for more examples of the principles and keys put to practice. In steps Carla’s book. I love hearing the wonderful story of staff and church transformed, by its leaders learning to carry a culture of honor and love. This book gave such great insight into what it looks like to start at what seems like square one, and dismantle and rebuild a culture from the ground up. Thank you Carla and Danny for bringing such great insight into the church culture culture.

Great book!
Format: Paperback
This is one of the best books I've read recently! If you want to stretch your faith and relationship with God this book will do it! The reading is easy and the examples are spot on. The activations, if you really press in and do them, are amazing! I thought I had a hard time hearing the Lord, but the things that came to my mind while talking to Jesus, have changed me and my relationship with Him!

Wow! Did not realize how much I didn’t see in so many interaction.
I read this book to prepare me to join leadership with our church. I had no idea what I was in for until reading this book. So many important parts to being a leader and being led. Most of all, looking for ways to follow Jesus and point others there to in a healthy, honor cultures was really eye opening for me.
