Primarily set in the 1960s, Mad Men focuses on the advertising agencies of Madison Avenue, NY, and the personal lives of those who work within. Renowned as one fo the greatest television shows of all time, it would become the first basic cable series to win the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series.

 

This wave features five of the show’s main characters, starting with Mr. Mad Men himself, Don Draper, complete with whiskey in hand and cigarette in mouth. As always his wife Betty isn’t far behind, secretary-turned copywriter Peggy Olson as she appears in the infamous “hallway scene”, Roger Sterling looking as sharp as ever, and rounding out the wave is the insatiable Joan Holloway.

Beautiful quality. Deep thick fur. The "patches" are noting more than where 4 or 5 inch splits, one at each end were stitched back together. I wouldn't have even called them patches. They are the same stitching as used to join the two pelts in the middle. The color is a very clean white. Being natural pelt, I was really expecting something a little more blond. I've bought New Zealand sheepskin several times before and I don't doubt this is Aussie or Kiwi sheepskin but I didn't notice this is processed in China before I bought it. Still, the only complaint I had was a strange chemical smell when I unwrapped it. It didn't smell like the tanning chemicals from previous pelts. But it's gone away after 3 weeks so I guess all's good.
