When installing a Mr. Cool Mini Split System further than the standard 25 feet provided with your unit, additional Line sets may be necessary.
For installations that require a longer distance, you can utilize a coupler to connect two lines together, extending the length of your line set. This kit includes an additional 35 feet of pre-charged line set, couplers to connect to your standard 25-foot line set, and a total of 75 feet of control cable.
It's important to remember that the maximum total length for any Mr. Cool system is 75 feet per zone, measured from the air handler to the condenser.
Included in this kit are a pair of line set couplers, as well as 75 feet of MC5 Pro Cable for a continuous connection from your indoor unit to your outdoor unit. To accommodate the new setup, simply disconnect the 25-foot length of wire or cable pre-attached to your indoor unit and replace it with the new 75-foot cable. This kit is suitable for use with the 9,000, 12,000 or 18,000 BTU indoor wall units. If there is excess cable after installation, it must be coiled and not cut.
