Handwoven by Berber women for carrying tea pot and glasses for the men working in the fields. Was also for bread and food.
The berbers take their inspirations from their life. It is only natural for them to be from what is around them, animals, insects, plants and flowers. It can also be of life and fertitility, festivals and celebrations.
This basket has been adorned with the national Amazigh motif, the Yaz or 'free man' which can also be found on their flag.
