The TY-70A from Sirui is a basic, Arca-type compatible, aluminum quick release plate normally supplied with the Sirui VA-5 Fluid Head. The plate features a basic Arca dovetail design which allows it to fit most Arca-type clamps, tripod, and monopod heads. Sirui has also equipped this plate with its standard safety restraints, which prevent the plate from accidentally detaching when properly used with Sirui safety-lock heads.

The plate features removable 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws along with an anti-twist brass pin for use with most camcorders. Anti-friction rubber mats have also been added to the plate to prevent unwanted camera shift when adjusting the position of your tripod or monopod head.

I love the Talalay latex for the quality, and that there is no smell. However, it is too high for my neck. I wish the company would make it in a 3" version, instead of just 5.5". They do have a "slim" version, but it is not even the same kind of pillow. It measures 2.5" and the back side is completely flat, so you can not turn it in over for use. The company basically took this 5.5" version and cut it in half for the slim.
