Hand over the Iarvel Pad to a spectator, and step back to create a clear distance. Ask them to write down a name of a person or a place that holds a personal meaning to them, one that only they know. Once they've written it, ask them to remove the paper from the pad and conceal it somewhere only they can access, like in their pockets or in their bags.

After that, with a little touch of theatrics, announce the hidden name and ask them to show to the other people gathered there what they wrote on the piece of paper. Imagine how awestruck they would all be at your ability to read minds.

The effect is even more interesting if you have an Iarvel Watch. Before the performance take off your watch and set it to a specific time and lay it down front facing down. Ask them to write a specific time that connects to the name they wrote.
