Singer songwriter Alanis Morissette's iconic voice has been a staple of alternative pop rock radio for over 20 years!! The Canadian performer burst into the mainstream with her third album (and first worldwide release), 1995's Jagged Little Pill. The record was a massive success, topping the charts in thirteen countries and becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time!!
The Alanis Morissette Essentials Collectors Series celebrates the 1995 breakout album along with follow-up LP Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, the 1999 MTV Unplugged performance, and the City of Angels soundtrack that features single "Uninvited".
Morissette released Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie in 1998, with lead single "Thank U" charting at the top of the Billboard 200 and receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
The 1998 film City of Angels boasted a soundtrack full of 90's hitmakers including Alanis and her track "Uninvited", which can still only be found on this record! The song was never included on any of her official releases.
The MTV Unplugged sessions were filmed in 1999 and have sold more than 650,000 copies to date.
