2026 Radar Senate Alloy Slalom WaterskiThe Radar Senate Alloy is the baby of the Senate range, offering the softest, most forgiving construction for anyone from new slalom skiers to those with experience but want smoother open water ride. The Radar Senate Alloy is the baby of the Senate range, offering the softest, most forgiving construction for anyone from new slalom skiers to those with experience but want smoother open water ride. Where the Senate model begins to differ is in its width profile, with a 2/10-inch step on the outside of the concave, the added width offers greater stability so the ski can handle easily with less angle on cuts and sit flat with ease. The primary benefit from its Vapor counterpart is what Radar has dubbed the Attitude Control Tunnel; they have blended the perfect harmony between tunnel rocker, bevel rocker, and tip height to reduce the amount of water deflected off the front of the ski and increase water flow efficiency. This all adds up to create a more predictable and balanced ski that allows you to get into turns earlier and exit them cleaner.

To increase the consistency through turns and create tighter turning capabilities, the Senate now has a reduced thickness in the sidewall, keeping the ski more connected in the turn, while the edge angle and a sharper bevel through the nose, mellowing through the tail keep the ski where you need it in the turn, stopping tail blowouts while maintaining the balance and drive to help you finish through the turn. The final aspect of this ski is the speed control, keeping the naturally fast Vapor staple that it has become known for, but with the updated sharper edge bevel now allowing the ski to decelerate better into the turns for greater control throughout the entire ski performance from the start to the end of the turn. Finishing this off is its traditional core construction with a machined aero core lined with Paulownia wood stringers and 100% carbon laminating for a fast, stable, and forgiving mid-range ski.

Rocker

  • Continuous Rocker - A continuous rockerline through the tip and tail of the ski provides a considerably more stable and forgiving feel in transitions from edge to edge in the build-up to the apex of your cut, while without a flat spot, there is no longer a pivot point allowing for reduced sticking points and allows for consistency and comfort both on your on and off-side
  • Increased Flat Spot - Increased the sweet spot from your front foot to halfway down the back, providing a bigger sweet spot, a more predictable feel from your ski, providing greater drive through the ski, and increased hold and angle in turns.
  • Attitude Control Tunnel - The perfect marriage between tip rocker and tunnel rocker. A reduced tip rocker results in less deflection, which helps engage the tunnel rocker of the ski, allowing for earlier turn initiation and generating more hold in the tail.

Flex

  • Flex Rating(1=Soft, 10=Stiff) - 5/10

      Core

      • PU Core - The most well-known core in waterski's, it is a durable, slightly softer material meaning you can ski for longer and not feel as tired while also getting more flex into turns and less rebound when crossing the wash.
      • Paulownia Wood Stringers - A softening material added to the core, allowing the ski to flex more through your turns and giving a more fluid and forgiving feel to the way you ski

      Laminates

      • Carbon Laminates - A traditional carbon laminate layer that is tried and proven adds a snappy element to your ski, driving response through your cut and turns

            Shape

            • 2/10" Wider than Vapor - This Vapor-inspired Senate takes everything you could imagine from the Vapor and adds 2 tenths of an inch to the width to add that little bit of stability and give it greater float at slower speeds
            • Sharper Hybrid Bevel - This sharp bevel from your foot forward allows for greater ability to lean into turns, creating more angle while providing greater control and deceleration into the turn and a tighter radius at the top of your cut. Blending to a softer bevel through the tail allows the ski to maintain balance, allowing you to maintain a turn angle through the whole turn and into the centreline.
            • Wider For-body - an increase in width in the for-body of the ski creates stability and allows you to stand over the top of the ski with more confidence before heading into your turns.
Increased Tail Taper - adding to the wider forbody of the ski, the increased taper gives you a more comprehensive platform through more of the sweet spot in the ski, creating stability and control underfoot, but also allows the ski to have more tip pressure, meaning less work to get the ski over and around into turns and smoother tighter turns.
            • Reduced Tail Width - Allows the ski to drift in the tail mid-turn and stay planted all at once, giving you more angle in your turn.
            • Reduced Sidewall Thickness - the reduced sidewall density helps keep the ski agile and your turns tighter.

            Concave

            • Full Edge-to-Edge Concave - a full concave throughout the whole width of the ski creates a fluid motion and greatly supports your cut, allowing you to focus on where you want to place the ski.
            • Depth - Increased depth throughout the entire length of the ski creates more lift and support while also adding greater volume; this, in turn, translates to greater push on the outer bevels of the ski and an easier ability to pivot into your edges and a tighter turn radius

                  Great little toaster oven!
                  Size: Medium Capacity
Great little oven! Heats up quickly, gets very hot very fast. Unit is small so don’t plan on preparing large amounts of food. This is a very lightweight oven that takes little counter space. Do be careful NOT to touch while in use as it very extremely hot!

                  Love da' Mini Oven
                  Size: Medium Capacity
I LOVE this Mini Oven thingy. And, for a while, I had this reluctancy to even purchase one of these for some reason. But now that I have one, convinced by my wonderful current roommate that this would absolutely be a necessity, I gave in and bought one! What I really dig about this mini oven is that it lights immediately, it's fast, easy to use, easy to clean and efficient to bake, toast, broil!

Cheap but must babysit your food (TL;DR: spend a bit more for a better one)
                  Size: Medium Capacity
I have the “Medium” size of this and have now had it for a year and a half. It basically does what a toaster/convection oven is supposed to do, but I do keep encountering issues with burning food. There is very little space between the coils and the rack so even thin things like slices of bread are very close to the heating elements. As there is no way to only use the lower coil, any toasting or cooking requires preheating so the coils aren’t all at full capacity for 5+ minutes. If you essentially preheat it, you can then toast or cook, but keep a close eye on it as even with preheating, you may need to turn and flip what you’re toasting every 30-90 seconds or the section under the coils will burn while the rest remains pale. When you’re making toast, it’s a lot of effort and practice to get your bagel or toast just right. As there is very little space and the elements are intense, even if you force the rack below where it’s meant to go (you can kind of wedge it between the guide and the bottom heating element cover), you can only fit things that are about 2-3” tall and those may still be a challenge. If you want to put a fairly tall piece of frozen lasagne in, for instance, the top will burn to a crisp before the center is even thawed. I’ve never had issues like these with previous toaster ovens, even small ones. I think they really did everyone a disservice by not making it about an inch or two taller inside. I also find it extremely challenging to clean. I’ve had many toaster ovens over the years and none have stained and discolored this easily. It’s an issue partly because of the small size inside, so you can’t reach everywhere, but even the glass door has gotten stains I cannot remove despite trying everything from lemon juice and baking soda to Ajax and Bar Keeper’s Friend. Overall, can you find ways to make it work as long as what you’re cooking is short? Yes. Is it convenient or ideal or a great toaster or toaster/convection oven? No. Update: About a month after I reviewed this, it caught on fire. I had about a teaspoon of oil on a baking sheet and when I flipped the piece of chicken halfway through time, a tiny bit splattered and because the top coils are right there, it burst into flames. I know enough to close the door and unplug immediately so it burned itself out. Now, the fact that oil splattered a bit is my carelessness, but as I said, it was only a teaspoon of oil so it’s not like it was being deep fried, and I have done the same thing with every toaster oven I’ve owned and never had that happen, because the coils shouldn’t be so darned close that they touch the food. So that was it for me. I spent about $25 more for a Hamilton Beach Easy Reach that I LOVE. It has enough space, doesn’t take up much counter space, and is a breeze to keep clean. I wish I had just spent a little more the first time and gone with what I have now. Save yourself my mistake and a toaster oven ending up in a landfill and spend the extra $$ to get one that works better and is safer. My parents have the older model of what I now own and have had it for over a decade, using it at least once a day, often twice a day.

                  Works well.
                  Size: Medium Capacity
Air fryer and toaster work very well (Thats all I tried so far.). About 2 medium potatoes sliced into wedges fit in tray. The top and bottom get very hot. Will burn if you touch them.
