The Impact Deluxe Varipole Support System with Metal Chain Kit  from B&H is a convenient way to support and rapidly swap out 3 seamless paper backgrounds up to 9' in length. One of the system's best features the ability to quickly break it down to its component parts to relocate it elsewhere. The kit includes 2 silver-finished Varipoles and a pair of Background Hooks with Superclamps to attach them to the Varipoles. Three Varidrives with black metal chains are provided to raise and lower the backgrounds.

The Varipoles easily and quickly mount between floor and ceiling providing stable support for backdrops, reflectors, lights and grip accessories. With its strong tension mechanism and locking system, the Varipole is secured by its own force of pressure between solid walls, floors and ceilings. Adjustable between 6'11" (2.1 m) and 12'1" (3.7 m), the Deluxe Varipole is capable of turning most rooms into a photo studio without damage to walls or ceilings.

The included Triple Background Hooks with Two Superclamps allow you to hang up to three rolls of seamless paper. The two Superclamps attach to the uprights of the included Varipoles and two Triple Hooks in turn attach to the Superclamps.

The 3 included Varidrives with Metal Chains each have two expandable core units and a flattened metal chain. One side of each of the drives has a large toothed gear to which the chain affixes to allow Venetian blind-like raising and lowering of the background paper roll. The other side of the drive provided tension control.

The two Superclamps attach to the uprights of the support system and two Triple Hooks attach to the Superclamps using the included hardware.

  The Impact Varidrive with Metal Chain is comprised of two expandable Varidrive core units and a flattened metal chain. One Varidrive has a large toothed gear to which the included chain affixes, permitting raising and lowering of the background paper roll, Impact Cross Pole or other support. The second drive has an adjustable tension drag. Both units expand from 1.81 - 3.07" to secure their grip on the core of the seamless roll.
