Fabric structure: Knitted from 100% mulberry silk. A few threads of elastane are also sewn into the top inch of the cuff - these threads make up 0.3-0.5% of total fibres.
Biodegradability: Silk fibres are 100% biodegradable. Before composting, remove the elastane threads from the cuff to dispose of separately.
Machine Washable: No (see our guide to washing natural fibres)
Care: Air between uses, only wash when required, handwash only. Please treat these socks with the same care and love you'd give to a handknitted sock. All wool socks will wear through faster than socks with nylon. Darn for life long love.
