Why would you need the HSP Billet Valve Covers for the 2011-2016 LML Duramax?
The factory valve covers on the LML Duramax are less than stellar when compared to the rest of the engine bay. People have seen that when making changes to their engine bay and adding parts to clean up the engine bay the valve covers have always been overlooked. HSP Diesel saw this and this is why we went to work on the HSP Billet Valve Covers.
What do the HSP Billet Valve Covers do differently?
We start with the material we use on the HSP Billet Valve Covers, we use 6061 T6 aluminum. We do this because we want something that is going to hold up and show off our awesome CNC Billet machined parts. With the construction being of metal, you are able to have a powder-coated piece that sets off that engine bay and holds up to the elements.
Our additional breather kit will include all the necessary hardware to route the breathers behind the front cab mounts. This reroute will feature a 1/2 Inch NPT to -10AN aluminum 90 degree fitting to a -10AN nylon braided hose on each valve cover. This is an additional product that is not included with the standard valve covers. You must select the crankcase ventilation kit in the drop-down menu if you wish to purchase it.

- (36) M6x1.0x16mm Socket Cap Bolts
- (4) M4-0.7x6mm Socket Cap Screws
*Special Note*
Running Change on these parts. These valve covers no longer come with O-Ring's we recommend using Grey RTV to create a proper seal.

How do people know the VIN code?
Engine code is dictated by the 8th character of the VIN number. The 10th character is the year of the truck.
