Originally released in 1975 as the follow-up to Moontan, Switch marked a bold stylistic turn for Golden Earring—infusing their hard rock roots with funk and progressive textures. This 50th anniversary edition is newly remastered from the original first-generation master tapes, restoring the full frequency range for the first time on vinyl.
Pressed on 180 gram white audiophile vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, this expanded 2LP set includes printed inner sleeves, a lyric sheet, and a trove of rarities. Highlights include the previously unreleased studio track “Action Alice & Bow-Tie Basil,” 7-inch single versions of “Kill Me (Ce Soir)” and “The Switch,” and a full side of rough mixes from the original IBC Studios sessions.
