1940年代のアメリカ製ワークパンツがベースのワークトラウザーズ。シルエットは股上が浅くワタリからすとんと落ちたストレートなライン。
ウエストバンド裏にボタンが付いており、サスペンダーを使用するスタイリングを提案。
髙橋のコレクションの1930年代のスポーツジャケットに使用されていた「TWEEDUROY」を再現した素材を使用。
「TWEEDUROY」とはコーデュロイにプリントを施し、ウールのツイードに似せた生地のことで、主に少年用の服や学生服に使用された。
ウールの生地よりも耐久性があったという理由から開発されたと思われる。
この独特な生地はマサチューセッツ州のHockmeyer社が生み出したもので、時代が経つにつれて大人用の服にも採用されていた。
バックルは鉄製で表面にメッキ加工を施していないため、時間が経てば錆びることから、経年変化を楽しめる。

Pretty not practical

I want to like this blanket because it’s soft and pretty but it’s unfortunately one of the most annoying blankets I’ve ever had. I got this blanket to replace my comforter for summer because it’s too hot and this blanket wouldn’t be. Well because or of it’s soft underneath and the fact that the two layers are only sewn together at the edges all night long it rolls into itself and won’t stay in place. I’ve tried tucking it under my mattress but by morning my bottom half is freezing while my top half sweats because the entire blanket will have slid up.
