The XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens is a weather-sealed optic designed for APS-C-format X-series mirrorless cameras, and provides a 152-609mm equivalent focal length range. Ideal for wildlife and sports photography applications, a twin linear AF motor offers fast and accurate focusing performance while a five-stop effective optical image stabilization system minimizes the appearance of camera shake. The lens' optical design incorporates five extra-low dispersion elements and one Super extra-low dispersion element to reduce color fringing and aberrations throughout the zoom range. The lens also sports a focus limiter switch, zoom-lock switch, and includes a removable rotating tripod collar.

Included with the lens is the XF 1.4x TC WR Teleconverter, which extends the reach of the lens to an equivalent 213-853mm focal length range with only a one-stop loss in exposure.
