Quality aftermarket brake fluid reservoir for all Vanagon models equipped with a power brake booster. This replacement comes with a cap, new filter and master cylinder grommets.

Important Install Note: The brake fluid reservoir we sell for all Vanagons has the extra port required for the hydraulic clutch system present only on manual transaxle Vanagons. Our stock is sourced from several manufacturers, and some reservoirs arrive with this port open while others are closed. It is critical that you visually inspect this port and make any necessary modifications prior to installation.

  • Manual transaxle Vanagons require this port to be OPEN. If the reservoir you receive has a closed port, drill it out to the same inside diameter as found on your original part. Be sure no plastic shavings are left inside the reservoir.
  • Automatic transaxle Vanagons require this port to be CLOSED. If the reservoir you receive has an open port, you will need to block this opening with a 7mm brake fluid resistant cap sourced at your local parts store.
