The CT 48 EI AC Dust Extractor features enhanced automatic filter cleaning, specifically designed for high-volume, fine dust extraction. This improvement ensures consistently high suction power, longer working intervals, and significant time savings. It also extends the filter’s lifespan, reduces maintenance effort, and helps reduce costs.
With a built-in Bluetooth® interface, you have multiple options for operation. You can automatically start the extractor using a Festool cordless tool or an optional remote control, eliminating the need to walk over to the machine. The extractor also connects seamlessly to the Festool app, allowing you to adjust cleaning intervals and receive alerts directly on your smartphone. Smart connectivity makes your work more efficient.
Additionally, the extractor includes several convenient features: the smooth, anti-static suction hose can be easily stored in the integrated Hose Garage to save space, and the bayonet fitting securely attaches the suction hose to your Festool power tool. The T-LOC system enables quick connections to Systainers and the Pre-separator (#204083). All these functions make the extractor a valuable asset in any situation.

Stopped working after 3 months
It stopped working after 3 months.
The motor still runs the gear still turns. But it does not engage the can to cut.
I bought it for a post operative situation and I am glad that it worked when for the length of time it did but it's disappointing that I now have to throw this item away.

Meh.
Worked great the first couple of times it was used. But then it stopped cutting into the cans and does not open them. It causes the metal to fray off in small pieces which resulted in getting a piece of metal stuck in my finger for weeks so I don't recommend. It's also very loud.

Leaves an EXTREMELY SHARP edge - cuts off entire lid from sides of can!

This can opener cut off the whole top of the tuna cans and left an insanely sharp, wobbly, very thin edge of the top of the can that nearly cut me because there was no heavy metal lip left behind to hold the structure of the top of the can! This is a very bad feature that is going to really hurt someone! I do NOT recommend this for anyone! Needs a product recall!
