The Holly Tree is a medium growing, elegant tree that is known for its vibrant blue shoots in spring. They appear with a distinct mottled purple and white colouring. As they grow and push their way amongst the deeper green older foliage, a wonderful contrast is created. When the prickles age, they turn to a luscious deep green.
