Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance, which can be produced by the body itself as well as supplied through food. It plays a key role in the conversion of food energy into cell energy and is therefore present in every body cell. The highest Q10 content is found in organs with high energy requirements: the brain, heart, muscles, liver and kidneys.

The most important task of coenzyme Q10 is the transfer of electrons in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. The body extracts about 90 per cent of its total energy from the respiratory chain. Q10 appears alternately in two forms: in its oxidized form, ubiquinone, it absorbs electrons; in its reduced form, ubiquinol, it releases electrons.

The body produces less coenzyme Q10 as we grow older. Stress or intensive physical exertion can also cause an increased demand.

Coenzyme Q10 is indispensable for mitochondrial energy production and allows the cells to breathe properly.

For the first time TISSO's Pro Q10 Spectrum combines two innovative and highly bioavailable Q10 raw materials in one formula. A daily dose provides 100 mg of the coenzyme Q10: 75 mg as ubiquinone and 25 mg as ubiquinol.

Kaneka Ubiquinol™ is up to 7 times more bioavailable than conventional ubiquinone. Due to its microencapsulated formulation, it is particularly stable and protected against oxidation.

Due to its complexation with cyclodextrin, CAVAQ10^® ubiquinone is up to 18 times more bioavailable than conventional ubiquinone. Both types of Q10 come from natural fermentation, are bioidentical with the body’s own Q10 and, thanks to the innovative methods used, are absorbed many times better in the body than conventional ubiquinone.

The product also contains Mumijo (shilajit), a rich polyphenol mixture of a total of 29 fruits, vegetables and herbs, and Vitamin B3 in the form of niacinamide, forming excellent synergy.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

Vitamin B3 fulfils various functions in the human metabolism. As niacinamide, it is a component of the coenzymes NAD and NADP, which, like coenzyme Q10, play a decisive role in the respiratory chain of the mitochondria.
