INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Safely Perform Basic Dogging Work course. This course only includes a challenge assessment designed to assess your knowledge and skills required to demonstrate competence in planning, preparing, slinging, shifting, directing, landing and completing basic dogging work in accordance with work orders, task requirements, safe work method statements, workplace procedures and safety controls.

Safely performing basic dogging work involves interpreting work orders and associated documentation, confirming task sequencing, selecting and checking dogging tools and equipment, calculating load mass and sling loads, assessing weather and ground conditions, and preparing lifting devices for safe load movement. In real workplace practice, this skill area is important because dogging activities must maintain load stability, use appropriate slinging and signalling methods, protect personnel and surrounding areas, and ensure loads are shifted and landed safely on packing or bearers.

The course assessment focuses on your ability to interpret work orders and task requirements; plan dogging work to meet legislative, regulatory, standards, codes, WHS, environmental and workplace requirements; select and check tools and equipment; confirm sequencing with relevant persons; calculate load mass, sling loads and lifting equipment requirements; assess weather and ground conditions; erect signage and barricades; select PPE; assemble lifting devices; select sling types, sizes and load-slinging methods; sling and shift loads safely; direct loads using signalling and communication methods; land flexible and out-of-sight loads safely; dismantle load-shifting equipment; inspect for wear; complete logbooks and site records; clean work areas and store tools and equipment.

By successfully completing this course assessment, you will have demonstrated that you can safely perform basic dogging work by interpreting task requirements, applying safety and workplace controls, calculating load and sling requirements, selecting and using lifting equipment, slinging, shifting, directing and landing loads safely, completing inspections and records, and finalising clean-up and storage requirements.

Good product with one exception
I was happy with this product. Easy enough to put together. Provides great storage space. Unfortunately one of the screws it came with was not functional so I've been unable to install both door pulls.

Really nice for the price.
Wouldn’t expect the quality for the price in today’s over inflated world. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not made from rare woods and interesting hand made joinery, but as a cheap cabinet to go in my bathroom in my rental apartment to replace the one that delaminated from the bathroom steam, yeah it’s pretty good. It’s made of what looks like mdf but the finish is what got me, it’s like a heavy spray on lacquer or at least feels like it, which shouldn’t delaminate like a veneered panel. My only complaint is the stickers to cover the screw holes, they could be a bit thicker so they don’t get wrinkled.
