following on from the run of singles "reasons to be cheerful, part 3", "i want to be straight" and "sueperman's big sister" 1980 saw the release of new album""laughter"" by ian dury & the blockheads. the""laughter"" tour took place in december 1980 and on christmas eve ian dury & the blockheads performed at london""s dominion theatre live on radio 1 and on tv via bbc2""s""old grey whistle testâ""€“ introduced on tv by annie nightingale and on radio by john peel.
