The Shadow skate brings unmatched power to the ice like you’ve never seen. Engineered for the new era of power skaters, the lower portion of the Shadow uses stiffer materials for increased energy creation and explosiveness, while the upper portion uses a more flexible and responsive material to maximize range of motion for game-breaking deception, putting unrivaled power and agility on full display.
- Quarter Package: The Shadow features a 3D lasted 12 Carbon Curv composite quarter package; a lightweight and thermoformable anaform design for superior protection and fit.
- Facing/Flex: Amp Flex Facing on the top of the boot and a reflex tendon guard offer enhanced Range of Motion.
- Tongue: The Shadow offers a Powercoil tongue designed for comfort and flexibility.
- Toe Cap: An all-new ErgoConnect toe cap creates more wrap of the forefoot, and extends into the quarter package to increase torsional stiffness. This allows for a better ergonomical structure to help relieve pressure around the toes.
- Liner: A Lock-Fit Pro liner offers both comfort and a grip to keep the foot in place throughout the skating motion.
- Ankle Padding: Aerofoam Pro comfort material lines the ankle to increase comfort and reduce wear.
- Footbed: Similar to the liner, the foot bed features Lock-Fit Pro material including Grip Print to reduce slippage and keep the foot in place throughout the stride.
- Outsole: A new CarbonConnect outsole stiffens the lower portion of the skate, reducing power loss and increasing energy transfer from the boot to the holder and blade.
- Holder: The Powerfly holder returns and crosses over from the Vapor skate line. A stiff front post increases energy transfer, while a flexible back post offers faster lateral movement, improving speed and agility throughout the ice.
- Runner: The Shadow is compatible with Bauer’s “Fly” steel model, allowing you to choose between the harder, premium coated Fly-Ti model or the high end Fly-X model.

Almost perfect

Solid mount. I’ve tried other ones but they don’t sit as nicely as this one. It also has a lot of adjustments to allow for using it any way you need it to so it is very versatile. The magnet strength is really good and holds my phone really well. Sometimes it feels too strong which I guess is a good thing. The charging works well but I wish the cable was a little longer

Poor socket design.

Overall this is a pretty decent phone mount. I have used it with both the windshield and vent mounts. The only problem I have is the design of the ball swivel. The socket contains a rubber piece to help increase the grip, but over time heat from the sun or the air vent makes the ball glue itself to this rubber piece. When you try to make an adjustment, the ball will not move in the socket and ends up breaking the socket. This is happened to me twice.

Great Phone Holder

I bought the version with the suction cup mount and I’m very happy with it. It holds my phone securely in place and doesn’t move around while driving. It’s also very easy to place the phone in the holder and remove it when needed. The suction cup sticks well to the dashboard, and you can position it so the phone stays in a safe, easy-to-see spot while driving. Overall, a great and reliable phone mount. Highly recommend!
