Course Objective

On completion of the different stages of the Latte Art Course, the learner will be able to froth milk for different kinds of coffee and carry out different movements of milk pouring with competency in pouring a Heart, Rosetta, Tulip, Swan. 

Attend this as a Latte Art Series or just come for the first latte art class for newcomers or choose the more intermediate sessions for more advanced learners.

Learning Outcomes

• Class 1 - Learn how to use the steam wand for Espresso Machine users / how to use a NanoFoamer for Non-Espresso Machine users / how to do Shadow Steaming for Commercial Machine users. Learn the strokes to pour a Heart.
• Class 2 - Learn how to pour a Tulip 
• Class 3 - Learn how to pour a Rosetta
• Class 4 - Learn how to pour a Swan

*Classes 2-4 require pourers to be able to pour the previous class art in order for the lesson to be effective. Depending on your progress, you may be able to learn more advanced strokes or finetune the previously learned strokes during the class.

Course Methodology

• Practice the hand/arm movements of performing milk swirls and actions
• Hands-on practical activities with an Espresso Machine's steam wand or a Nanofoamer for users who do not have an Espresso Machine at home

All food and service personnel who are responsible for preparing barista coffee, anyone who has the passion to upgrade and work in the Food and Beverage industry, interested hobbyists and passionate home-to-be baristas! Suitable for Beginner-Advanced level brewers.

Health & Safety

All participants' health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. Close supervision is ensured. Heavy tools are used; you may want to wear safety / covered shoes for this workshop experience. If you show symptoms of fever, shortness of breath, or cough, please notify us and do not attend the lesson.

Terms and Conditions:

A refund of 50% of the individual workshop fee only will be issued for all the cancellations made in writing through email to [email protected] and received less than 14 days before the first workshop date.

No refunds or credits will be issued for No Shows on the day of the workshop, or for packages. 

For the purchase of package (Class 1-4), please use all 4 lessons within 60 days. We are unable to provide credit beyond 60 days. 

We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the workshop activity in the event beyond control such as illness, venue availability, or bad weather. If we cancel the session or you are unable to attend the postponed activity, a refund will be issued within 14-days of notice.

There is an inherent safety risk involved in any workshop session. By registering for this course, Cowpresso and its employees disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury or damage that happened during the event.

Duration

1.5 Hours for each session. This course can be carried out at our Cafe.

Course Fee

NETT Price. Full Course of 4 classes package fee is $450/pax through paynow, and to be paid before commencing the course. 

If you already have experience pouring and want to jump stages or wish to just attend the first class, the cost is $150 per class. 

Full cream milk, Cowpresso Specialty Espresso Coffee Blend, Equipment, Time & Labour for the lesson will be covered.
