The Nakiri knife is a double-edged, thin-bladed Japanese knife primarily used for cutting vegetables.

This knife has a kuro-uchi (black-forged) finish and is made of high-carbon steel, offering outstanding sharpness. Although there are traces of the black finish and some age-related darkening, the blade edge shows a clear silver high-carbon steel sheen.

There is a partial sticker on the ferrule that may be worn; it might be best to remove it before use.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "特製" (Specially Made) and the branded mark "源豊造" (Minamoto Toyozō).
