The imagery never lost its popularity, and can be found in this 18k gold Me & Ro necklace. The necklace features a crescent moon pendant as its main focal point, dangling from a delicate belcher link chain. One inch above the moon, a gold star is incorporated into the chain on one side of the necklace, bringing nice asymmetry to the piece. The moon and star are imprinted with a lovely paisley pattern that add a sweet, feminine element to the surface of the matte gold.
The necklace was made by Me & Ro, a New York-based jewelry company known for its spiritual symbolism and Eastern influences. Often including images like lotus flowers and Sanskrit inscription, Me & Ro’s jewelry is imbued with meaning and can be worn as philosophical talismans. The company was founded in 1991 by Robin Renzi, and has drawn a celebrity clientele. All of Me & Ro’s jewelry is handcrafted in New York.
The necklace measures 17 3/4” long. The crescent moon pendant measures 5/8” x 3/8”. The piece weigh 3 grams. It has a spring ring clasp, and is marked as 18k, with the Me & Ro signature and copyright.

Easy to put together, aesthetically pleasing. It is relatively sturdy for a cat scratcher. Kat does not seem super interested in this one and we have several others that he is so I’m not sure what happened there.
