Our Earthen Clay series now comes in a Earthen Clay Marble series, as well as an Earthen Clay Sand series. They both come in Coarse, Fine, X-fine and the marble series has a Spatulata version comparable to our Grassello Di Calce Spatulata. All the Earthen clay series are made with the finest British China Clay, Pozzolans, Pure cl90 hydrated lime, marble powders and sands, silica sands, rheology modifiers etc. These are developed to be used in commercial spaces and have great durability and strength. Clay finishes are typically left unsealed and best left open to regulate the humidity in your home. Water based sealers do not work on clay products as it will break the product down with long term exposure to water. 

The Marble series can be burnished and polished like venetian plaster to produce extremely shiny finishes, and the sand series will produce more matte surfaces either matte flat or textures depending on the application style. The Coarse version of the Earthen clay sand can have chopped straw mixed into the product found online for any animal bedding etc or at local home hardware stores, and then sanded back once dry to reveal the straw in the final finish. 5-10% straw by volume is more than sufficient. Test dosages first as the product must remain workable and not be difficult to apply with higher dosages of straw.  

Pro Tip: Kaolin is softer than lime when dry and will polish to a glass like shine using a wool bonnet and a cut polisher.
