The Ambu King Mask has been developed with benefits for both clinicians and patients. The quality design and manufacturing process ensures a thin and tacky cushion that adjusts well to the face. Together with the teardrop shape of the mask, clinicians can get a ventilation seal with minimal pressure to the patient’s face. The quality resin makes the dome very clear for easy observation of the patient’s condition.

The smooth finish with no hard edges and the grooved cushion ensure a consistent and tactile grip.

The Ambu King Mask is also available in a scented version with Fresh Scent, Bubble Gum, Strawberry and Cherry scents. The Sweet Dreams^™ masks release soothing aroma from natural oils in the mask cushion. This can have a calming effect during induction, especially for children.

New phthalate-free and MR Safe Ambu King Mask

Ambu continues to develop on its legacy products including the King Mask. Our ambition to keep the product up-to-date has led to several design improvements that we are currently implementing. Keeping the same design, the new Ambu King Mask will be manufactured in a phthalate-free material to avoid exposure to DEHP. In addition, the check valve has been updated making the Ambu King Mask MR safe. Lastly, face mask sizes 3 to 7RD will be equipped with color-coded hook rings for easy size identification.
The implementation of the above changes will be performed in a transitional period of 6 months. The launch of the new Ambu King Masks will be performed at different stages according to the sizes of the face masks.

During the transition from the old to new version of the product, customers may receive both versions. To identify whether a product is the old or new version, please refer to the label of the product. If the below symbols are shown on the label, then it is the new version.
