These discs feature a reduced marcel for faster shift action to complement ACT pressure plates. Quiet operation with increased strength and reliability. Monoloc is a one-piece, direct replacement or upgrade to the standard, two-piece wedge collar and wire ring featured in pull-type clutches. The spring tension of the segmented retaining ring is carefully calculated and tested for optimal performance. Much thicker filter (more surface area), should filter better

First filter change at about 28000 miles. Original filter was pretty dirty but OK on intake side.
WIX filter is quite a bit thicker but fits my 2016 RAM 5.7L Hemi fine. Also cleaned out the bottom side of the air filter box.
The WIX filter is much cheaper than the Mopar and seems to have a similar construction but is much thicker. Assuming the filter media is the same, the WIX should in theory filter and breathe better (more surface area) - but I am no expert so.

A performance gain, you may ask. Ha. This is a gutless 2.4L 4-banger. No performance to begin with, and no gain after installing this. :-)

Honestly I didn’t use it yet but just by inspection it. Looks very good. On thing I have to say is. Amazon did it again. Perfect. The outside box was a little dented and slightly crushed on the corner but the inside box that holds the air filter was perfect. Me being a delivery driver at one time am amazed that the packages always come delivered in perfect condition. I know how easy they can get damaged. Great job Amazon and the drivers and the whse and package dept. great job
Update, I just put the air filter in my Honda and it feels faster and more responsive. I will be buying this air filter again. I bought a spearhead air filter for my tundra , and it’s a good filter but I think I am going to switch to a kax filter for two reasons
First I said I put it in my Honda and it feels faster and responds quicker.
Second. I know it’s not a good reason but I like the color.
But I really feel the difference.
