The Came-TV Protective Cage Bundle combines a cage for your Panasonic GH4 with a variety of accessories to make a fully fitted shooting package. Included with the cage are a removable top handle, a base plate with integrated 15mm LWS rod clamps, 15mm rods, and snap-on follow focus unit with hard stops as well as a 4x4 swing-away matte box with flags, anti-reflection rings, and removable lens gears.
The form-fitting cage helps protect your camera from the rigors of production and provides accessory-mounting points. The cage slides into the baseplate and locks securely in place. The baseplate incorporates 15mm rod clamps set at the LWS standard and also incorporates 1/4"-20 accessory-mounting points. The snap-on follow focus unit features two hardstops, making it suitable for setting up blind focus pulls and for use with endlessly rotating lenses. The 4x4 swing-away matte box includes two filter trays and removable top and side flags. Also included are anti-reflection donuts and removable lens gear rings.
- Once you mount your camera into the cage, the rig can be assembled without tools.
- A plethora 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes allow mounting of accessories without stressing your camera's body.
- The removable top handle incorporates a cold shoe with a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole for additional accessory-mounting options. Additionally, the top handle features three 3/8"-16 and three 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes.
- The cage slides into the baseplate for toolless attachment. The baseplate incorporates 15mm LWS rod clamps and provides the correct rod-to-lens-port center height for working with standard rod-mounted lens accessories.
- The cage incorporates cable locks that help secure cables to your camera.
- Included anti-reflection donuts help prevent light from behind the camera from flaring any filters and degrading your image.
- Removable lens gears that you can mount on lenses without gearing allow you to use your follow focus unit with non-cinema-style lenses.
