Impact Photo Portrait Studio Kit

Using predominantly Impact gear, B&H has put together this Photo Studio Light Kit that's a great solution for photographing everything from products to people or for ecommerce. The kit includes 2 fluorescent 4-lamp fixtures, eight 40W daylight-balanced lamps, two 6' stands, and a stand and umbrella case.

Kit Components:

The 4-Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a lightweight fixture in a polycarbonate housing that accepts Edison-base compact fluorescent lamps up to 50W, for a four-socket total of 200W. The fixture's bracket tilts and locks into position and features a standard 5/8" receiver that mounts on any 5/8" stud or accessory, and also accepts standard photo umbrellas..

The 3-section 6' Impact Black Light Stand is an economical support with an industry-standard 5/8" stud top with a 1/4"-20 thread. The stand folds down to 26.3" and weighs 1.8 lb.

The 50 x 50 cm Softbox for Fluorescent Fixtures is a light modifier that softens the output from Impact FF-S1 and FF-S4 single and four-socket fluorescent fixtures, as well as Impact's SF-ABRL160 Slave Flash. Installation is easy - no speed ring is needed; each of these heads has four receptacles located around the face of the fixture. The softbox can be used with up to four 50W fluorescent lamps for a total of 200W.

The padded nylon Stand and Umbrella Case measures 36 x 9 x 9" and allows you to carry up to 25 lb of gear. It has a webbed double carry handle that is stitched completely around the outside of the case, as well a removable shoulder strap.
