An extraordinary map of pre-Haussmann Paris and the early Faubourgs (suburbs) issued in 1802, following Napoleon Bonaparte's 1800 reorganization of the city into 12 Municipalities. Covers Paris on both sides of the Seine from the Champ de Mars to Le Trone, extends north as far as Montmartre and south roughly to Port Royal. Produced at the height of French dominance of the cartographic arts, this maps is a fine example the engraver's art. Individual buildings, fields, streets, hills, valleys, orchards, and public gardens are revealed in breathtaking detail. We can even see the incomplete state of the northern wing of the Louvre Palace. There is an elaborate street index on either side and at the bottom of the map. In the lower right quadrant appears a list of names of the ministers in charge of the Municipalities. This is an update of a similar street plan made by the same publisher in 1797. This type of map, known as a Pocket or Case Map, is designed with the traveler in mind and while it display's beautifully unfolded, is designed to fold and fit in a vest or coat pocket. It accordance with its purpose, the map has been dissected and mounted on linen in 21 sections. This system was devised in the 18th century to protect folding maps against damage caused by repeated folding and unfolding. The linen backing absorbs the stress of folding and can easily be mended or replaced, this preserving the integrity of the actual paper document.

It’s absolutely perfect for fetch in the dark!
Size: One-Size-for-Most
We needed to find a glow in the dark ball to run our over active dog after dark ( gets dark now about 5 pm ish) I was hesitant to buy this ball at first. We went to try it out and it totally blew my expectations! The ball really glows, it’s a durable rubber and when it hits the ground it lights up blue and red. Incredibly satisfied and just ordered 2 more. If you need to run your dog in the dark, this is absolutely for you. Highly recommend it

Dog loved it
Size: One-Size-for-Most
Great! My dog loves taking it outside at night so he can see where it goes easier. Super bouncy, he has had it for over a year now and still not destroyed. Perfect size for his mouth too and easy to clean.

Most durable one yet and it lights up. Our dog loves it.
Our dog destroys every other ball we've tried but this brand. I like the upgrade of being able to recharge it. She's a whole different dog when it's lit up. We're on her 4th one now and so far she hasn't torn any of them up. The ones with that were AA batteries always shorted out.

Best disco ball!
Had the old version of these balls that had batteries you actually replaced. This one is much better because you plug it in. My dog always loved this ball, because it's soft enough that she can take it in her mouth. And I love the color change. I got one for my daughter and her dog too, because I knew he loved them too.

Issues still persist even with the new rechargable version.
Nite Ize just can't get this figured out. This ball is by far my dogs favorite ball. We play ball daily, and when we don't get in a ball session during the day, we pull one of these out after dark. The problem persists even on the new rechargeable design. They just don't last. With the old battery operated version we just knew we would spend the 25 or so dollars each month to purchase a new one as the light mechanism would fail. When they updated to the rechargeable version I was ecstatic to try it. I bought one and it lasted an entire month before we lost it over a fence. I purchased a replacement thinking that Nite Ize finally figured out the design. I was wrong, this one lasted for about 6 or 7 evenings of ball fetching and stopped working. Just a disappointment that they can't get this issue solved.
