About the Workshop:

This in-person class at Center for Book Arts is taught by instructor Norah Maki.

A quick and fun introduction to soft-cover book binding. In this class, learn a couple of simple bookbinding techniques - in miniature format! We'll use elements like decorative paper, colorful thread, cutouts, and collage to add flair to our tiny books. No prior experience necessary. Students will make 3 tiny books, 2 accordion and 1 long-stitch. Students are encouraged to bring their own decorative papers or items for collage.

Optional Materials:

  • If you have specific decorative papers or images that you would like to incorporate into your books, you are welcome to bring those

All other materials will be provided by Center for Book Arts at no additional cost.

Beautiful book inside and out! The main message is the unbreakable unconditional love between a child and father. Happy I got this book for my babies to give to their Dad before Father's Day.

Farts! What Every Young Boy Wants to Read About
Format: Paperback
My nephew was not into reading until we discovered this series of fart books. Now, he wants to read every night. As for the book itself, it's very humorous and carries a lesson about not growing up too fast.

Must buy!
Format: Paperback
my daughter is obsessed with these books. They bring such a smile to her face and it’s such an easy gift for year round as there’s one for each holiday. We currently have the valentine’s day book and this one. We hope to buy her the Santa one for christmas. I highly recommend buying these! It’s silly but also teaches your children that it’s just a normal thing that happens to EVERY human and there’s nothing to be ashamed about.
