DEUTSCHLAND Sachsen-Weimar, Herzogtum Johann Ernst und seine 7 Brüder 1605-1619. Taler 1608, Saalfeld. Sehr schön. (Germany, duchy of Saxe-Weimar, John Ernest and his seven brothers, 1605-19, thaler of 1608, Saalfeld mint, very fine.)

This type was struck 1607-12 in Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. The eight brothers depicted were co-rulers of the tiny state; the last one, William IV, died in 1662.
