Kate had been admiring her neighbour’s orange tree that stretched over into her backyard, while the neighbour silently worried about its encroachment. As a sudden apology, the neighbour appeared and passed a basket brimming with its fruit over the fence—a thoughtful gesture during the depths of lockdown. We thought it fitting to pair it with a wine made from fruit offered by equally friendly growers in a neighbouring wine region.

Tasting Notes
Pure Pét Nat – clean, fun, and vibrant! This highly effervescent Shiraz Rosé bursts with fine bubbles from the first sip to the last. It's packed with hard candied strawberries and tropical fruits, think Cyclone Icy Poles balanced by savoury, nutty undertones from fermentation in neutral French oak.

Winemaking
Heathcote Shiraz, harvested early to preserve freshness, was gently stomped to draw out a delicate pink hue from the skins then fermented in seasoned French oak barrels, creating mouthwatering aromatics. Unfiltered, unfined, non-disgorged, and made with no added sulphur, each sip reveals a new dimension of flavour and character.

Vineyard
Lucy and Gerard's vineyard is nestled on the east-facing slopes of the Mount Camel Range. This geological feature was formed along a fault line bringing nutrient-rich Cambrian-aged metabasalts to the surface, where they intermingle with seafloor sediments such as chert, jasper, and siltstone. The result is strikingly red, iron-rich soil with exceptional drainage, making this site highly desirable for grape growing.

Easy to use and works well!!
Color: Silver, Set name: Wine Opener Set
Had experience with a different brand of electric corkscrew in the past 8 years or so . . . the first 2 worked pretty well (they tended to poop out with fairly heavy use after 3 years), but the most recent one was a disaster & shredded corks and worked so badly from the outset that I went back to a manual corkscrew, even for very hard composite corks. So I was nervous about trying this one, but based on the very positive reviews, thought 'why not?' This one is a delight to use . . . you only have to touch the lever (bottom for opening, top for releasing the cork), and this little gem just WORKS WELL!! It also has a smaller footprint than most (which is a plus) & looks pretty sharp. The only slightly potentially challenging aspect is setting up a mini-usb to power source to charge this one (but most use that now, anyway, so that shouldn't be a big problem).

Never before has open a wine bottle be so easy excellent electric wine opener set
Color: Silver, Set name: Deluxe Wine Set, Color: Silver, Set name: Deluxe Wine Set
This wine opener is so easy to use and it looks great in my kitchen. Whenever i bring it out during dinner parties it is the conversation piece! The bottle opener is rechargeable, the aerator needs 4AAA batteries, it also comes with a really nice wine stopper that you have to pull up and push down a few times when you put it on your wine and it will keep it fresh for up to 7 days. Now I can forget about those hard to use manual openers that I have never been able to open a bottle of wine on my own but now I am able to do it in less than a minute and it is so amazing! What a good product, very complete and easy to use. Will make an excellent gift, comes in a really nice box ready to be gifted.

I bought it for me, never used it and decided to re-gift to a friend that has issues with her hands and opening bottles. My friend loves it.

Does what it is supposed to do!
Color: Silver, Set name: Deluxe Wine Set
Really like this. It is very easy to use and clean and does the job well. I got it on sale so it was worth what I paid for it but not sure I would buy it at full price. If you like heavy red wines, this is a must.
