Historic Map : Burr Antique Map of The Eastern Hemisphere, 1834, Vintage Wall ArtThis is a beautiful first edition 1834 David Burr map of the Eastern Hemisphere. It covers the entirety of Asia, Africa and Europe as well as Australia and the East Indies and much of the Pacific. This is a beautiful first edition 1834 David Burr map of the Eastern Hemisphere. It covers the entirety of Asia, Africa and Europe as well as Australia and the East Indies and much of the Pacific. Important cities, rivers, islands and mountains, along with other topographical features are noted.

Although 'New Holland' officially changed its name to Australia in 1824, it is here referred to by its older Dutch name, a term that would fall out of favor shortly after this map was printed. The interior however, is entirely unexplored. In Africa, the source of the White Nile is set in the speculative Mountains of the Moon. The interiors of Africa and Asia here follow archaic geographical conventions - giving evidence to the general lack of knowledge about these regions in the early 19th century. The Great Wall of China is noted, but not identified.

According to Ristow, although Burr is credited on the title page, he left this atlas incomplete. He was appointed as topographer to the U.S. Post Office, and of the siin xty-three maps finally included in this atlas, only completed eight. The rest of the maps were then completed by Illman and Pilbrow in Burr's style. The map was ‘Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1834 by Illman & Pilbrow in the Clerk's office of the District Court for the Southern District of New York', but not published until the atlas was released in 1835. Engraved and Printed by Illman & Pilbrow and published by D. S. Stone in Burr's New Universal Atlas.

Squeakers not squeaking
Cute but the problem is the bag was vacuum sealed and none of the squeakers work, even after letting them sit a few days out of package 😥

Disappointed
My multipoo loves his duckie, wrestles with it, sleeps with it, but today he found a weak spot on the back and ripped it, pulled some stuffing out. Have had it about 1 1/2 months. Disappointed! Stu he’d it up but not sure how long it will last🤨

Buyer beware this toy falls apart
I’m sorry to write this review, but I DO NOT recommend this item at all. It is as pictured. It is really cute. It is soft. My dog loves it. HOWEVER, the seams just fall apart. I have bought 3 of these since Christmas and it’s only the beginning of June so five months later and all three of them have fallen apart. Literally the wing will fall off, a foot will fall off and the seams keep coming undone. The stuffing is all over the house. This is one of the cutest stuffy’s. I’ve ever bought for my dog, but it is also the lowest quality and a complete waste of money. Highly recommend that you buy something else.

Durability sucks dont buy
I purchased the Mellow Duck dog toy specifically for its supposedly durable construction, hoping it would provide at least a few weeks of entertainment. Unfortunately, the toy was completely shredded and destroyed within 24 hours of its arrival. For a product marketed as suitable for dogs, the material quality is extremely poor and clearly not designed to withstand even moderate chewing or play. This was a significant disappointment and a total waste of money. I cannot recommend this toy for any dog, as it offers zero long-term value.
