Double Entrance, Twin Zone, Queen Bee Mating NUC with Feeders

Maximise your queen-rearing efficiency with this Double Entrance Twin Zone Queen Mating NUC, a compact, highly insulated mating hive designed for professional and hobbyist queen breeders. This innovative design allows you to run two independent mating colonies in one unit, reducing labour, bees required, and overall cost while increasing queen production success.

🐝 Designed for Efficient Queen Rearing

Unlike traditional mating systems that require full nucleus colonies, this mini mating NUC allows queens to be successfully mated using only a small handful of worker bees. This means fewer bees diverted from honey production while maintaining strong mating success rates.

The dual-zone configuration enables you to run two separate mating colonies simultaneously, doubling productivity without increasing equipment footprint.

🔥 Excellent Thermal Performance

Constructed from insulated materials with 3.5× the thermal insulation of timber hives, this mating NUC maintains a stable internal environment. This ensures:

  • Reliable queen development in early spring and late autumn
  • Reduced heat stress in hot summer conditions
  • Strong brood viability and feeding behaviour

The compact spherical colony structure mimics a natural bee cluster, encouraging better nurse bee activity and improved queen development.

🔁 Twin Independent Zones

Each side of the NUC operates as a fully independent mating chamber, separated by a solid partition divider that prevents bee crossover while allowing dual queen rearing in one hive body.

Each zone includes:

  • Independent entrance control
  • Dedicated feeder
  • Separate floor access
  • Individual ventilation and observation

🎯 Smart Entrance Control System

Each side features a round adjustable entrance disc with three modes:

  • Fully open flight entrance
  • Queen excluder mode (workers pass, queen retained)
  • Fully closed (ideal for transport)

This makes the NUC perfect for mating yards, transport, or controlled breeding programs.

🍯 Integrated Feeding System

Each chamber includes its own sugar syrup feeder, separated by a queen excluder to prevent queens entering the feeding area. This ensures:

  • Safe feeding during mating cycles
  • Reduced disturbance
  • Controlled nutrition for small colonies

👀 Easy Monitoring Without Disturbance

Two clear PVC viewing windows sit above the frames and beneath the lid, allowing quick inspection without disturbing the NUC hive and temperature loss. This reduces stress on mating colonies and helps maintain stable internal conditions.

🚚 Portable & Transport-Friendly

The mating NUC features anti-escape and anti-theft design elements, including:

  • Sliding entrance covers for transport
  • Ventilation mesh for airflow during relocation
  • Secure feeding compartment

Ideal for moving queens to mating yards or safely transporting mated queens.

🧰 Included Components

This complete kit includes everything needed to start mating queens:

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger
