Doctrine according to Godliness is perfect for older youths or adults who have questions on Reformed theology and want answers quickly. The book consists of short, easy-to-read explanations of more than 235 topics of Reformed theology. The sections are both comprehensive yet succinct, each only a page or two long. An index to the subject titles allows the reader to find a title under any of its key words. The book makes an especially good resource for older young people in doctrine classes, for newcomers to the Reformed faith on domestic or foreign mission fields, and for those studying doctrine with a view toward church membership.

What others are saying about this book:

"Doctrine according to Godliness is a significant publication. I would describe it as a Reformed Dogmatics for the common man. It is a valuable book with the potential for benefiting the broader Reformed church world and beyond. Doctrine according to Godliness sets forth the truth of Scripture, that is to say, Reformed doctrine, in a clear and logical form, and it does so in a manner that is not intimidating. This is doctrine in a form that every believer can grasp, can understand and embrace...Doctrine according to Godliness is an excellent resource for the ministers and elders who teach catechism. They can gain ideas and insights as to how to introduce specific truths, and how to apply them concretely to the youths. Societies could profitably use it for study. Evangelism committees could be guided by the content and style of the book in their promotion of the truth. And, above all, any and all believers who take it up to read will be edified, encouraged, and comforted by the precious knowledge of the truth." - Russell J. Dykstra

"This is the best book that I have found in my extensive reading to give to someone who wants to learn the Reformed faith. Over the past few years, I think I have bought and given away nearly a dozen of these. In simply, 1-page chapters, the author covers the whole of systematic theology in a brief but comprehensive manner. Nearly all issues of importance are addressed and the Reformed and Protestant Reformed position convincingly argued from Scripture." - Manuel K.

"One would expect a book of this kind to be quite dry and tedious to read, but Doctrine is warm, personal, and has a definite devotional feel to it." - a reader

"Easy to read and understand. Very sound (and complete) Reformed Theology. A must read for any and all ministers and students alike - Reformed or not. This will enrich your understanding of theology in general as it will enrich your own spiritual life and faith in Jesus Christ the Saviour. Soli Deo gloria!" - a reader

"In a book of about 350 pages, Rev. Ron Hanko has managed to combine doctrine with devotion. To many this would seem to be an almost impossible task. Doctrine is dry and boring is the cry from many. Devotion is all about experience is the opinion of others. The result is that in many religious bookstores there are frothy and light books for experiential Christians and heavier dogmatic books for more intellectual church members. This book meets the formidable challenge of explaining doctrine, which to many is ivory-tower theology, with warmth and passion. Rev. Hanko is convinced that we cannot know God unless we know doctrine. This reviewer agrees wholeheartedly...Rev. Hanko devotes about 1 ½ short pages to each doctrine, making it truly bite-sized theology. The reader is taken through over 200 chapters, and the whole spectrum of divinity is introduced, from the doctrine of Scripture, the attributes, names and works of God, the doctrine of man (his creation, fall and redemption), the work of Christ, the covenant and salvation, the church and the sacraments and the return of Christ and the last things. Every doctrine is clearly explained and demonstrated from Scripture. This book would be an excellent resource for pastors, elders, Sunday school teachers or the ordinary believer who wants to know God more. Its style makes it accessible to all." - a reader

Lightweight tinted SPF that looks beautiful on mature skin
I’ve tried a lot of tinted sunscreens, and this one is honestly one of the nicest I’ve used for everyday wear. The Eucerin Tinted Age Defense SPF 50 feels lightweight, blends easily, and gives the skin a healthy natural glow without looking heavy or greasy. The texture is smooth and hydrating, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the tint adapted to my skin tone. It helped even out my complexion while still looking very natural. On mature skin, that is important because many tinted SPFs can settle into fine lines or look dry after a few hours. This one stayed comfortable and looked fresh throughout the day. I also liked that it layered well over skincare and under makeup without pilling. The finish is more radiant than matte, which gives the skin a healthier and less tired appearance. The addition of hyaluronic acid is a nice bonus because the product feels more moisturizing than many sunscreens I’ve tested. The packaging is practical, easy to use, and perfect for daily use or travel. SPF 50 protection combined with skincare benefits makes this a great all in one daytime product. The tint may not work perfectly for every skin tone since it is designed as a universal shade, but on my skin it blended much better than expected. If you’re hesitating between Eucerin and CeraVe, this one is better for mature skin, a more elegant finish, and higher sun protection since this version offers SPF 50 while many tinted CeraVe options only go up to SPF 30. If you specifically want higher daily protection with a natural radiant finish, this one is definitely the better choice for me.

Eucerin for the Win...Again!
I love this tinted sunscreen. It's so lightweight and blends in really well. Since it blends in, it is good for all shades of skin. It doesn't have a strong smell like a lot of other sunscreens have, so that is a huge bonus. So far I'm really loving it. I am definitely a Eucerin girly. I love all things Eucerin at this point.

A hydrating sunscreen but won’t provide the coverage
I’ve been using CeraVe sunscreen, so that’s my baseline. It’s thicker, slightly pigmented, and very hydrating.. Switching to Eucerin felt like moving from a cozy blanket to a light sheet. It’s definitely thinner and less pigmented, so at first it didn’t give me that same immediate glow or coverage I was used to. That said, on its own, it’s still a good sunscreen. It spreads easily, feels comfortable, and does the job without heaviness. After using it for a while, I’ve kind of settled into a rhythm: • If I want a bit of coverage and that hydrated, supple finish → I reach for CeraVe • If I just need straightforward sun protection → Eucerin works perfectly fine One small downside is the packaging. The pump is convenient, but toward the end, I can already tell there’ll be product left that’s hard to get out since you can’t really squeeze or open it easily. Overall, I’d say Eucerin is a solid, lightweight sunscreen. Just don’t expect that tinted, slightly “makeup-like” effect if you’re coming from something like CeraVe. It’s more of a quiet, reliable everyday option than a multitasking one.
