Creating this painting felt like a rush -- a rush of color, of letting loose, and the rush of loosing myself in the process.

I remember sitting back and looking about it when it was done. "Is it too much?" I asked myself. And in asking myself that question, it reminded me that women are so often told that they're "too much" or "not enough."

And with that, I decided this painting was perfect just the way it was. With all of it's colors, it's lively movements, and it's big energy.
