Simpson Strong-Tie SSTB36HDG Applications
- Concrete anchoring for structural holdowns
- Suitable for monolithic and two-pour concrete applications
- Used in grout-filled concrete masonry units (GFCMU)
Simpson Strong-Tie SSTB36HDG Installation Overview
- Install SSTB before the concrete pour using AnchorMate anchor bolt holders.
- Minimum concrete compressive strength is 2,500 psi.
- Nuts and washers for holdown attachment are not supplied; install standard nuts, couplers, and/or washers as required.
- On HDG SSTB anchors, chase the threads to use standard nuts or couplers or use overtapped products in accordance with ASTM A563.
- Order SSTBL models for longer thread length if required.

Entertaining, informative, without being overwhelming.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
