The Realtree Max5 LensCoat for Nikon AF-S 180-400mm f/4E TC1.4 FL ED VR Lens is a sleeve for your lens that has a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat, offering protection from weather, bumps, jars, and nicks. It is an excellent option for sports shooters and photojournalists who are regularly subjected to less than optimal shooting and climate conditions. The Realtree Max5 camouflage pattern offers maximum effectiveness in open terrain. The pattern incorporates cattails, reeds, cane and grasses to blend into flooded marshes, plus corn, wheat, oats and sunflowers to hide you in open fields.
Clear plastic windows are located in positions that allow you to view your lens functions, including the distance scale. There is a handy alignment hole that will make mounting the lens to your DSLR body easy.
The LensCoat also provides a thermal barrier, protecting your hands from the lens' cold surface in lower temperatures. It is easy to install and remove, leaving no residue on the lens. The LensCoat is waterproof, providing protection in harsh conditions. The increased protection this covering offers can help preserve the resale value of your lens.
