This edition translates Oppenheim’s recent rainbow collages into a combination of two new (to her practice) printmaking techniques. The risograph under-layer is created from three hand painted images layered together to create a rainbow. The black letterpress print on top is made from an image of a collage of screenprints of marbled paper (how is that for a visual game of telephone?) that has been reworked to create areas of space where it is possible to see through to the under-layer only. The narrative of the print is of a smiling bookbinder—or aspiring bookbinder—entering the magical jungle of bookbinding. Printed by Allison Carter-Beaulé at Center for Book Arts.About the Artist
Sheryl Oppenheim was born in 1983 and raised in Orlando, Florida. She is a painter, paper marbler, and maker of illegible books, an idea she first became interested in after seeing the work of Bruno Munari, and through her proximity to books, bookbinders, and marbled paper at her first job in New York, at a bookbinding supply house. She began marbling paper in 2011 and began learning Suminagashi in 2016. Her artist books and prints are included in public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Watson Library, the Museum of Modern Art, the Walker Art Center, the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Museum, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She has participated in recent exhibitions at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Sadie Halie Projects, Deanna Evans Projects, International Print Center New York, Small Editions, and the Cranbrook Museum of Art. Oppenheim received her BA from Brandeis University and her MFA from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. She lives and works in New York City.Shipping Notes

Quick drying, non sticky lotion!
Color: Medium Glow
Great even color and dries immediately. This formula is not sticky at all. The color may not be as dark as the gel or foam, but is very natural.

Unbeatable Value for the Price!!
I’m so impressed with the packaging of this kit! It came with the cutest little bag, perfect for the pool or beach. The product sizes are much larger than I expected, and the mitt is excellent quality. I haven’t tried everything yet, but I’m really excited to. For the price, this kit is a fantastic value considering how much you get!
One small note: the “Gimme the Glow Down” spray could’ve been filled a bit more (see photo). I did test a quick spritz on my face, it felt refreshing, but did have that classic self-tanner scent and left a slight sticky residue. Nothing major, though. I’ll update once I see the full results on other products!
UPDATE: I LOVE THESE PRODUCTS! The tan is so even and gives a great glow to my skin. I wash my face twice a day so I use the glow down spray to refresh the tan. I used this self tanner for my engagement photos and it looked like I just came from the beach! (See last photo)

Dark coloring but very streaky and stains easily.
Color: Medium Glow
While it does darken the skin one has to be VERY careful when putting it on. It does stain and it is very streaky and it does stink after wearing it a while so the smell is rather yucky and they advertise that it is not. I had streaks everywhere and unevenness so I ended up ordering a glove to apply it with hoping that will do a better job. I have not tried it yet but am probably going to return one of the 2 bottles I received and hope for a partial refund.

Horrible. Save your money. I like the mousses, but this is awful. Streaky and orange. Splotchy. So bad

Helped Tighten My Skin & Minimize Pores
Color: Cyano Pink Spicule, Color: Cyano Pink Spicule
I’ve loved the Dr. Melaxin Cyano Pink Spicule Serum! The bottle is small, but it lasted me around 6 months since I only use one pump every other night. When I first started using it, I noticed a tingling sensation, but over time my skin adjusted and I barely notice it now. I’ve definitely seen my pores appear smaller and my skin feels tighter and smoother after using it.
