Decision-Making in the White House: The Olive Branch or the ArrowsFaced with divided advisers, limited options, contradictory evidence, and the profound global consequences of their choices, how do presidents reach a decision in a time of crisis? Faced with divided advisers, limited options, contradictory evidence, and the profound global consequences of their choices, how do presidents reach a decision in a time of crisis? As a speechwriter and close adviser to John F. Kennedy, Ted Sorensen, whom the New York Times referred to as Kennedy's "brilliant alter ego," drafted many of the president's key public statements and was a participant in some of the toughest decisions made by an American president. In the shadow of potential nuclear war, John F. Kennedy had to weigh, with extreme, sometimes excruciating delicacy, his options as he responded to the Cuban Missile Crisis, the construction of the Berlin Wall, and other domestic and foreign crises. In these famous lectures, Sorensen draws on his firsthand experiences in the Kennedy White House to analyze the political and personal dimensions of presidential decision-making and the necessary attributes of an effective leader. In particular, Sorensen emphasizes knowing and remaining open to all options; the need to make an informed, prudent, and resolute choice; the importance of avoiding any appearance of deception; and the necessity of understanding decisions made by past presidents and recognizing the limitations of presidential power.

This edition includes a new preface by the author, comparing the very different decision-making styles of George W. Bush and John F. Kennedy. Sorensen argues that Bush's failure to seek support from the international community, explore all his options, and fully investigate the facts presented to him have contributed to U.S. difficulties in Iraq. In light of the findings of the 9/11 Commission and the numerous accounts of George W. Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq, Sorensen's observations offer timely insights and analysis as the United States and the American president confront a new set of challenges.

Genuinely comfortable and practical for everyday wear
Color: A-5pack, Size: Large, Color: A-5pack, Size: Large
I am very impressed with the FINETOO Boyshort Underwear for Women. These are extremely comfortable, even after wearing them all day. The cotton material is soft, breathable, and feels great against the skin without causing irritation. The cut is well designed and offers full coverage that stays in place without riding up. They are very wearable for everyday use, whether lounging, working, or running errands. I also appreciate that they do not create noticeable panty lines, which makes them easy to wear under different types of clothing, including leggings and jeans. Durability has been excellent so far. I have washed them multiple times, and they have not shown any signs of wear, stretching, or fading. The stitching has held up well, and the fabric still feels just as comfortable as when they were new. The color variety in the pack is another plus. The colors are cute, practical, and easy to mix into a regular underwear rotation. Overall, these boyshorts check all the boxes for comfort, durability, and everyday wearability. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, full coverage cotton underwear. A few are missing from my screenshot as I had already worn them!

Made with quality
Color: A-5pack, Size: Small
I ordered a pack of these sometime last year and they have lasted. They r made with quality stitching & the material isnt smothering. These ain’t gonna make your cat stank on a hot day, they r breathable. Sorry didn’t know how else to get that point across. But I just ordered 2 more packs. They r aslo comfortable and don’t feel tight, smothering, or itchy. The material is very comfortable against my skin. The tag is on the left, so when u hold them up u can tell which side is the front and back. They cover enough & form to your body so they r also cute and flattering. They do leave some cheek exposed, for me anyway. These also don’t bunch up & cause wedgies. They stay in place. I have a physical job so I move around a lot, & clean house a lot, & these don’t move around at all. Small fits me perfectly & they do stretch. I’m petite but curvy. I wear cotton leggings & layers frequently, for my job in a cold room, and you can’t c these panty lines thru the cotton leggings. These r also kinda low cut, and they sit below my belly button. These ain’t gonna hold in a fupa or anything, but they do compliment natural curves. I’d leave a pic but not for free 😉

I really like them for their soft fabric and comfort, I washed them and I thought they were going to get bigger, but they were left intact, they are made with cotton I am of sensitive skin and it worked for. I asked for others of the same brand, but they are different style, they are beautiful they are not rolled up. size S.

Good value
Color: C-5pack, Size: Large
These are good panties for the price but I don't love that they don't have a tag or something printed to know which is the back and front. You can tell once you put them on but that's a bit annoying when you get it wrong. Not a super big deal though. They are comfortable and pretty true to size. They look just as pictured. Definitely worth the price that I paid and I would buy them again. Very lightweight and comfortable
